about liquid art
Anyone can be an artist with a drink in their hand!
We get people drunk and teach them how to paint!
We host drinking and painting parties for absolute beginners!
Many people haven't been creative or painted since they were at school, and as adults we often forget to take time away from work to try out our creative sides.
During our events our expert artists will be taking you through a painting step by step and showing you different techniques which honestly anyone can do. If your creative juices take over, we encourage you to go rogue and show you fun ways to try something new! You can drink whatever you fancy at our event, by no means will we make you drink alcohol.
We are prefect for so many occasions with our private events from corporate events bringing your teams together, house parties, drinks with friends to fundraising events. Let’s face it is way more fun than running 5k!
Come join us and experience a different night out, you drink, we'll provide the snacks and art supplies, plus all the knowledge to help you produce some cool artwork that you can be proud of!
our story
Drinking and Painting; two things we love to do and we get to do it as a living.
So you might be wondering "what a random business" or "how on earth did you get into this line of work?" we get asked this all the time.

Liquid Art was a total accident and came about as a result of a drunken hockey tour idea back in 2018! Rachel was on tour with some friends, playing hockey pretty badly when the topic of work came up and mentioned how much she loved the idea of drinking and painting parties but all the ones she had been to or worked for previously where too serious, not fun and clinical. Painting is meant to be fun and we love bringing people together, which is when Liquid Art was born. With the premise that everyone has the ability within them to paint with the right teaching and we can create a fun environment for them.

We support talented local artist to teach our guests, breaking every painting down so you have step by step instructions. Honestly anyone can do it.... We have cheesy music playing so everyone can have fun and get into that party atmosphere. We love to include food where we can so that everyone can have a break, the paint can dry and of course who doesn't love snacks when they are drinking?!

After the tour we had our first few test events as house parties, and then had our first few in public events in pubs and haven't looked back since.

We mainly have our venues here in Milton Keynes and around surrounding areas with our own Studio Venue for more chilled and private events. We plan on expanding out of area in the near future. If your a new venue wanting to work with us please get in contact.
We couldn't run our events during Covid for obvious reason so took Liquid Art Virtual where we got to drink and paint with so many of you across the country and even made some new friends world wide. We made a free YouTube channel for people to be creative with us at anytime. Bringing people together and getting them to create in such a dark time was an honour and something we have been proud of.

We've travelled all over the country to host private corporate and team building days such as Hertfordshire Veterinary College, Birmingham to Brighton for Channel 4 Production Company!

pet portrait artist
Hi, my name is Rachel, I'm an artist based in Milton Keynes, specialising in pet portrait drawings.

I set up this business to pursue my passion of art and to capture your treasured memories within the stroke of pencil and paint. From photos of your beloved animals I will create a unique, one of a kind portrait that makes a wonderful, personalised gift for family, friends, or even yourself along with a time-lapsed video of your drawing being brought to life.

I am self taught, and constantly strive to make my artwork as realistic as possible and capture the personality of the animals.
