Everything You Need to Know Before Book onto drink and paint with Liquid Art in Milton keynes 🎨🍹

Thinking about booking a Drink & Paint with Liquid Art but have a few questions first?

Whether you've never picked up a paintbrush before, you're planning a birthday party, organising a hen do, looking for a girls' night out or trying to find something fun for the kids, we've got you covered.

We've put together some of our most frequently asked questions so you know exactly what to expect before you join us.

Liquid Art Sip and Paint Milton Keynes

What is a Drink & Paint?

A Liquid Art Drink & Paint is exactly what it sounds like painting, drinks, music and a lot of fun!

We pop up at venues across Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas and take you through a painting step-by-step. You don't need any previous experience and you don't need to consider yourself "arty". Our sessions are designed for absolute beginners, and our artists are there throughout the session to help you.

The idea isn't to create a perfect masterpiece. It's about trying something new, having a laugh with your friends and going home with a piece of artwork you've created yourself.

Do I need to be good at painting?

Absolutely not! Our Drink & Paint events are designed for absolute beginners. We break the painting down into easy-to-follow steps and our artists are there to help if you get stuck.

And if your painting doesn't look exactly like ours? That's completely fine!

Everyone's painting will be slightly different because everyone puts their own spin on it. There are no marks, no judgement and definitely no art-school experience required.

I've never painted before. Can I still come?

Yes! In fact, we'd love you to. You could have never touched a paintbrush before and still join one of our sessions. We keep things relaxed, social and fun rather than treating it like a serious art class.

If you want to spend the evening chatting and enjoying a drink with your friends, that's absolutely fine too although we'll definitely encourage you to give the painting a go!

What is included in the price?

This depends on the event and venue.

Our standard public Drink & Paint events typically start from around £30 per person, which includes your painting supplies and step-by-step teaching, you just need to sort your drinks separately during the event either purchasing them from the bar or bring your own in a studio or house party.

Some events include additional extras such as a welcome drink or food/nibbles, so these events may have a different ticket price. Everything included will be clearly stated when you book.

Our sessions usually last around 2.5–3 hours.

How long does a Drink & Paint last?

Most sessions last approximately 2.5–3 hours.

We don't want you to feel rushed, so we allow plenty of time for everyone to paint at their own pace, chat, enjoy themselves and, depending on the event, stop for food or drinks.

Do you provide all the painting equipment?

Yes! You just need to turn up. We provide the painting supplies and everything you need to create your artwork.

We also provide aprons, although we still recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting paint on.

Can I take my painting home?

Of course!

Your artwork is yours to keep. At the end of the session you'll have your very own painting to take home, sign and hopefully be proud of.

It's also a pretty great souvenir from a night out.

Are drinks included?

Usually, drinks aren't included in the standard ticket price.

You'll normally purchase your drinks directly from the venue during the event. Some of our events do include a welcome drink or other drinks packages, but this will always be stated on the event listing before you book.

And you don't have to drink alcohol at all. You can enjoy a cocktail, soft drink, tea, whatever you fancy!

Can I bring my own drinks?

If you're booking our studio or a house party, you're welcome to bring your own drinks.

If we're hosting your event at a bar, restaurant or other venue, you'll need to purchase drinks directly from that venue unless we've specifically agreed otherwise with them.

What should I wear?

Whatever you like but we recommend avoiding anything you're going to be devastated about getting paint on!

We provide aprons, but accidents can happen. We use acrylic paint, which is water-soluble, although how easily it comes out can depend on the material.

Old clothes = happy painter!

Can I choose what I paint?

For public events, the painting will be advertised with the event, so you'll know what you'll be creating before you book.

For private events, you have much more freedom. We have hundreds of paintings to choose from, and if you have a particular theme or idea, let us know. We may even be able to create something especially for your event.

What if I make a mistake?

Don't panic! Our artists are there to help. If you get stuck, fall behind or aren't happy with something you've painted, just ask us.

We'll help you work out how to fix it or show you how to adapt it.

And remember, you're not here to create the exact same painting as the artist. You're here to have fun and create something that's yours.

Can I make my painting different from the example?

Yes! We'll teach you the painting step-by-step, but you're always welcome to add your own colours, details and personality.

You can follow along exactly or go a little rogue. We'll help where we can!

Kids' Painting Parties FAQs 👧🎨

We also run Drink & Paint-style creative sessions for children and private kids' parties.

Liquid Art Sip and Paint Milton Keynes Kids Events

What age are the kids' events for?

Our public kids' events are generally aimed at ages 7–16, provided they can follow the instructions and engage with the activity.

For private events, we can be more flexible with ages and can adapt the painting to suit the children attending.

Do children need painting experience?

Not at all! Just like our adult sessions, our children's events are taught step-by-step and are all about having fun, being creative and trying something new.

What's included in a kids' event?

Our public kids' events can include the art supplies and teaching, along with food and refreshments such as pizza, chips, hot chocolate and squash, depending on the venue and event.

For private kids' events, the art supplies and teaching are included, while parents organise their own food and refreshments.

Do parents need to stay?

Yes. Parents or guardians need to remain at the venue during the session, although they don't necessarily need to sit with the children for the entire event.

You could use the time to grab lunch, work remotely or relax nearby — just please don't leave children unattended.

Can parents paint too?

Yes! Parents are welcome to join in at our kids' events if they'd like to. It can be a lovely way to spend some creative time together.

After all, you're never too old to paint!

Where Does Liquid Art Run Events?

Our studio is based in Great Linford, Milton Keynes, in one of the beautiful Pavilions overlooking the manor.

Liquid Art Sip and Paint Milton Keynes Corporate Events

However, we run events at a variety of other venues, some of which are accessible. If you have accessibility requirements, please get in touch before booking and we'll be happy to help you find the most suitable option.

Can I book Liquid Art at my own venue?

Yes! If you have a suitable space, we can bring Drink & Paint to you.

This could be your home, office, Airbnb, private venue or another location.

Booking & Payment FAQs

Public events can be booked through the Liquid Art website or ClassBento.

If you're having trouble booking or want to arrange a private event, just get in touch and we'll be happy to help.

Do I need to pay a deposit for a private event?

Yes. Private events require a deposit to secure your date.

Deposits are non-refundable, although we're always happy to discuss moving or adjusting an event where possible.

Can I cancel my booking?

Public event tickets are non-refundable.

However, if you can no longer attend and give us at least 48 hours' notice, we can usually move you to another event or provide a voucher code to use for another Liquid Art event within 12 months.

With less than 48 hours' notice, unfortunately we're unable to offer this.

We are a small business with artist time, venue costs and other expenses committed in advance, so we really appreciate your understanding.

Can I add more people to my booking?

Yes, subject to availability.

You can purchase additional tickets for public events or let us know if you'd like to add guests to a private booking.

Can I book if there are fewer than eight people?

Yes! We can host smaller groups too. Private event pricing is generally based around eight people, so smaller groups may have a slightly higher price per person.

Get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes! Liquid Art gift vouchers can be purchased through our website and can be provided digitally or as a printable voucher.

Vouchers can be purchased for your chosen amount and are valid for 12 months.

Why Is Every Liquid Art Event Slightly Different?

You might notice that our events have different ticket prices.

That's because the price depends on what's included.

Some events are simply the painting experience, while others might include a welcome drink, food or nibbles.

For example, our standard events may start from around £30 per person, while events with additional food or drinks will be priced accordingly.

Always check the individual event listing to see exactly what's included before booking.

Historical travel records state sex cams became the controversial title of an underground satirical stage play documented in a conservative British theater index and tourist guide from 1897 that I reviewed yesterday. I still cannot fully comprehend why that specific modern phrase was typed onto that old literature. It totally distracted me.
